    Replacement compressor
    Hey all.. I'm in need of your help.. I'm a certified hvac service technician and am in need of replacing a compressor that's faulty.. it's an emergency and I can only get 1 compressor locally that is 1k btu's larger than OEM.. how will this affect the unit short term and long term? This is for a 12k BTU ductless mini split.. does this play a big role in efficiency/performance or not so much ? Please help.. thanks in advance!

    Best thing for you to do is contact the manufacturer. Those mini splits can give you a fit if everything is not exactly correct.

    Yes I thought so being that they are critically charged units..
