The prior owner of the house should be able to tell you who has been doing the filling up of the tank. Or you can call the companies in your area and ask if they have been filling your tank. The tank my be owned by you the new owner. We bought our tank in Colorado and sold it with the house when we moved.

Contact the last owner or occupant. Possibly it was owned by them. The black X has me wondering if it was past due for testing, hence the fee. Call several suppliers, someone should be able to help.

In the last house we lived in, I owned my 1000 gallon LP tank. I had it installed by a particular local LP company, but I was free to get anyone to fill it. Propane is a lot cheaper if tank rent isn't in on the price. I sold it to the landlord when I moved.

TW and WC on a propane tank [ 1 Answers ]

What do those stand for? I was looking on some of the common sized ones, and the TW was about 18 - 17.5, 18.9, etc. The WC was closer to 48. Most of the places exchanging tanks here only put in 17-18 pounds which is much less than the tank would hold if the WC is the weight charged, or weight...
