Pressure difference from top to bottom in closed loop chilled water system
Please advise me on what should be the pressure difference in a closed loop chilled water pipe system (total height 40m aprox )from top to bottom.
I understand for open pipe circuit the static head difference (aprox 4 bar) will be there.
But is this applicable for closed loop?
Will there be more pressure differece if there is air trapped in the pipes?
Do the difference in pressure change when the chilled water pumps running?

Please answer me at the earliest.
