Nordyne Furnace "burner limit circuit open", during A/C operation
Hi all, Hope this makes sense and required info is present. Any help or suggestions is appreciated, thanks.

Furnace brand is Nordyne, about 3 years old, cooling portion model# of unit is JS3BA-036KA. This issue started last week. The A/C still works, but now the blower portion? Doesn't shut off most times. Opened the panel and the LED blinks in correlation to "limit circuit open or external load on "W". Tried jumping all connections in line to the blower to get it to stop, but no avail. Any tips/troubleshooting I can run through? Would the circuit board need to be replaced? Or am I missing something simple? The unit has been nothing but trouble since I moved into the house 2 years ago, not that that really helps... ;) Thanks, again.

Turn of all electric power to the furnace. Then turn back on. See if this resets the board. If not find the limit and jumper it and reset the board by turning off the power again. If not trace the w wire from the thermostat to the board and checks for shorts. If not the board could be defective.

Thanks - turning off the power worked a for the first few times earlier in the week - now no go - will do on tracing the wire, thanks again. I'll try to jumper the limit that is the upper limit one that is flat against the firewall and reset the power.. It seems to have multiple limits -- is that possible? This is a power vented furnace if that makes a difference.

Any one of the limits could be causing your problem, look for a reset button on the limits , it may be a very small button between the wires of the limit, you may also have a limit on the blower housing, good luck. Mike
