    Mears thermostat not working properly
We live in a condo which has baseboard heating. We have our individual thermostats in each room to control the heat. In our living room and one bedroom. If we turn the thermostat on a little it goes to 80 degrees. Its like all or nothing. If on its hotter than heck and if off we are colder than heck. Do we have to replace our thermostats? Or how do we resolve this to get our heat back to normal? These thermostats are very old from 1980's, what would we get if we need new ones?

From what I see these are line voltage stats. That means at least 120 Volts. So be careful when you remove the cover. Make sure the power is turned off. These stats are still available.

Once you determine the voltage you can buy replacement stats, even if your exact stat is not longer available. Honeywell Aube Thermostats - Programmable and Non Programmable - From F.N. Cuthbert Inc.
