Intertherm central air fan not turning
I have an intertherm central air unit on my 97 mobile home. I had a guy test it out because the fan wasn't kicking on and he told me the capacitor was out. I go to buy a new one and had the parts store test it and they said it was putting out but I bought the new one anyway. Well I couldn't remember exactly where to plug the wires back in so I tried a few ways and none of them made the fan kick on. I followed the wires leading to the fan and plugged them into the capacitor where it says fan, then the compressor to herm and the extra wire leading to a small black box to the c on the capacitor. Nothing has worked. Could my fan motor be out or am I not hooking the wires up right. Anyway you can hook me up with a wire diagram showing exactly where the wires go on the capacitor?

The only thing I can hear making any kind of noise is the small black box where the wires are plugged in. its making a humming noise like current is running through it. No loud noises no clicking nothing!

All outside and inside units have a factory wiring diagram on the inside of the service panel on the outside unit and usually on the backside of the blower door for the inside unit.

Another idea for you is have the guy come back that told you the capacitor was defective and have him repair the unit.
