    How do I fix this/
My husband and I just purchased a home that is about 75 years old. We had an inspection done - the inspector said the furnace is working fine, though is 20-25 years old. We went to turn the heat on last night and nothing. The furnace doesn't kick on at all. We turned the thermostat all the way up - nothing. What should I be looking at to fix this? Thanks.

Could be your gas valve or have you checked transformer. Also check all ecletrical connections an transformer and gas valve

Check all the breaker/fuses in the panel. He may have left one in the off position by mistake...
