    Honeywell thermostat RTH7600 reset factory default?
    We recently installed a Honeywell RTH7600 series thermostat. My problem is that I inadvertently skipped the starting programing part which sets the date and day of the week in the base of the programming so to speak. I have successfully programed the 7 day schedule etc but since the day of the week is 3 days behind the schedule, my schedule is off. How do I reset to factory default and start from new? I have removed the batteries for 3 hours today and the schedule etc popped right back up when I reinstalled the batteries.

    There is no factory reset but if you go into the advanced setup (System&Fan, then hold down Fan for five seconds) there are some settings (120 through 150 I believe) that let you manually set the date. The advanced settings are all described in the installation instructions manual which can be downloaded as a PDF at http://customer.honeywell.com/Honeywell/getliterature.axd?LiteratureID=69-2206ES.pdf

I currently have a Honeywell T841A1217 and want to install an RTH7600. The wiring labels are different. T841A1217 has W2,X,O,E,G,Y,R. The RTH7600 has C,G,Y,O/B,RC,R,AUX,E,L. The RTH7600 also has C,G,Y,W,RC,R,W2,Y2. I have a 2.5 ton Carrier Heat Pump.
