Honeywell RTH230B a/c is not working right
We purchased a Honeywell RTH230B thermostat last winter and up until the past week, it has working fine but now the a/c comes on, feels cool but won't get the house to the right temp. On the thermostat itself it shows 72-73 regardless what you put it on manually or the auto temp thing. We like it cool in the house so its usually on 68-70 and has been fine up until now. We're in Memphis and it is 100 degrees with horrible humidity but I think the air should be able to get to 68? The snowflake icon on the thermostat flashes for the typical time delay of 5 minutes and then starts up but won't get cool enough. I changed the batteries just in case but no help, changed the filter, no help... Like I said, there is cold/cool air coming out, just not enough and the thermostat always shows 72-73. If this sounds like a thermostat problem, any help would be appreciated! If it sounds more like a problem with the unit, advice is also appreciated, I'll just have to call someone who knows what they are doing as I don't have the expertise to work on the unit! Thanks in advance for any and all help! I don't have the specific model number but I know the unit is a Trane and is only 5 years old so it shouldn't be crapped out this quick, I wouldn't think.

    Thanks,
    Trey
