My home ac is not cooling properly
Home ac is not cooling properly. The unit is running, but it is 80 degrees in our home. We have a terribly insulated home and skylights(which I cover with dark towels to block out the hot summer sun), but I cannot get the house to cool properly. We are skimping by on a part time job due to a lay off... what can we do that is without huge expense.
    Thanks!

When you say that the "unit" is running, are you meaning the inside unit? The outside unit? Both?

Are you sure that the outside unit (condenser) is running?
