    Heat pump compressor quits
The compressor on my heat pump quits while running. This has happened when it was in defrost, the fan was off and the compressor running. Then the fan started and the compressor stopped. Voltage was going to the compressor. Later the compressor started normally but then quit ( this time not in defrost). No noise when this happens. Unit has just had freon added by a technician. Thanks for any help.
