Having problems with my central air unit it keeps running! The furnace too?
Recently we moved into an apartment and the heating seemed not to work properly and it was serviced. Only, I feel there still is a existing problem. Its warm weather now and we have switched over to our central air.Of coarse a problem is existing in the cooling system because the central air unit and the furnace has coninued to constantly run and has not shut off. When we realized this was happening we shut the power off and then we had no cooling or heat in the apartment which we rent. After the power was shut off the furnace and the central air unit ouside continued too run and run still and the AC would stop off and on when the power was off. The fuse was taken out of the unit to stop it from running! We called and the apartment manager once again caled a heating& cooling company. The technician arrived and after a short while it was determined he told us that the capicator was bad and needed replaced. He then checked the wiring and found out it was bad and needed too have it rerun and he changed our thermostate because it was not working correctly and the tempature would not regulate too be the same degrees. The thermostate was installed at that time and nothing else could be adddressed since we were told the electrician would have too be scheduled to finsh the work order. L Two people came and they excessed the situataion to comfirm what the tech had reported and they then proceeded to enter the cubby whole under our apartment and I assumed they traced the wiring. Because they rehooked the furnace wires and told us the wiring was good now and had checked the CA unit outside and it need cleaned and they installed the capacitor and set the thermostate too 72 degress and it was 74 in the house. They told us before they left it would be the same no.s when the house reached the 72 degress and the unit and furnace would kick off. Well, the furnace and C unit ran for 12 hours and constantly nonstop. The apt manager has them come out again and they told it was not shutting off because AC unit had low pressure and they put some freon in the unit and then told us it needed a compressor too. They did not bother to confirm the thermostate was working before they left again. We left the AC unit and furnace on for 5 hours this time and the same the did not stop running! So, once again we turned the breaker box off and the thermostate. I wondering if they qualify and know how too do there job. There suppose to be trained personnel for the company the apt manger called too perform the job! I'm now concerned since we pay the electric and all the appliances are electric that we will have a big electric bill due not completeing the work order for the 3rd time? I need to know if this company has performed the necessary touble shooting and is there diagnois is correct? Hope, you can answer my questions and concerns in this situation we our having to deal with still. I'm not a happy camper since the problem is not fixed right and need advice and guidance. Thank you for your time and listening! It helps! To know someone cares about others as our Lord expects us too do!
    Thanks! Sincerely,
