I have a 2002 Ford Expedition. The heater blows cold air when the engine speed slows
I've already changed out the thermostat. Any other suggestions or ideas are appreciated.

Could it be the coolant system?

    Flush coolant system,

Flush heater core and pull off heater core hoses( if you can get to them )and make sure that they are not clogged.

My home heater comes on, blows hot air for 10 to 15 minutes, then cold air until we turn it off. If we leave it off for about 30 minutes, it blows hot air again, for 10 to 15 minutes, then cold again. What do you think is the cause?
