    Furnace won't ignite-blowing cold air
    Hello all, GMP power vented gas furnace won't ignite-blower is blowing cold air-indicator light is flashing 4 times...

    Check service label for translation of LED fault code and post here. Look inside blower access panel. Continuous blower operation usually indicates an open limit device.

    Does this mean that a limit switch needs to be replaced?

    Maybe. But it may be as simple as pushing a button on a flame rollout. Have you checked filters lately. There is most likely a reason for limit malfunction

    The OP didn't state that the blower was running constantly, just that it was blowing cold. Could just be an ignition failure. Flame sensor perhaps. Need more information to accurately diagnose.

    I actually changed air filter about an hour before we noticed no heat coming out just continuous cold air-blower running non stop

    Just waiting to hear what the code means. You should be able to find it on inside furnace cover or in furnace manual.

    Your thermostat isn't set on "run" instead of "auto" is it.
