    Furnace does not light
    I have a bryant 373lav furnace and the igniter does not get hot, gas turns on and the igniter does not glow would that meat that the igniter is bad or something is not turning on the igniter

    It could be the igniter is bad or the control board is not sending 120V to the igniter. Do you have a voltmeter?

    Little confused. "igniter does not get hot, gas turns on and.. ". How does the gas turn on without the igniter getting hot?

    Do you have a voltmeter & know how to use it? If so, with a little help from us, you can figure out quickly if the igntor is getting power or not.
