False or audible ignition takes place (sounding louder than a regular ignition)
Thank you again for reading - this forum is awesome!

I've got an Intertherm G5RC100-16 natural gas furnace that's now got a new issue: a false or audible ignition takes place (sounding louder than a regular ignition) after the ignitor becomes hot and the gas valve turns on. Once I even saw a little flame roll out of the intake for the combustion air. An inspection of the heat exchanger shows no cracks, and a tech with a probe showed 0% carbon monoxide reading, so I'm assuming that the heat exchanger is OK. My question is this: should I replace or just clean the 660812 Nordyne burners? Is there anything else I'm missing? Should I replace the orifices too please?

    Thanks so much!
