    Only if your A/C runs on propane. What does the manual that came with your furnace and A/C say?

    There are very few manufacturers of propane AC units. There are a lot of Propane package units which use Propane for heat but Electricity for AC. I'd be very surprised if you have a household sized Propane ac UNIT. There are propane refrigerators if you have no electricity.
