    Do I connect both W1 and W2 to the W terminal
    My old wires are labeled Y1 R G1 W1 and W2 . I am trying to install the RTH2300 Honeywell thermostat. Do both the W1 and the W2 wires get put on the W terminal together

    NO you need a two stage heat thermostat
