I have a Kenmore natural gas furnace that is about 15-20 yrs old, heats a house which is about 1600 sq ft. This morning there was an odor in the house (smelled like something burning)- and the furnace would kick on and off periodically, but nothing blew through the vents... started getting cold......

Can you guys please look at the following pictures and tell me what you think. Does the exhaust pipe look damaged to you? Did the repairman who tried to repair it do a poor job? The pipe has since been replaced but I need some help from you guys. Thanks.
