Cleaning an Old Steam Boiler & Radiator Vent Valves
    Hi,

I have an old Utica Gas Steam Boiler. Do you recommend using Squick on old boilers as well?

What do you know about Gorton venting steam radiator valves? Supposedly, they have a numbering system for each valve based on the location of each radiator in every room in your house.

    Thank You,
    Dominic

Look around at this site for all the Gorton info you need.

BTW they number the valves for locations and usage. See the site below.

Steam Heat radiator clogg. [ 6 Answers ]

I have a Steam Heat system, one radiator will not heat up fully, only the right half gets hot, the release valve is on the left half. If I unscrew the valve during heating, pressure is released. Why would only half work? If it was clogged, wouldn't steam NOT come out of the release valve? ...
