    The fan o the Carrier weathermaker 8000 runs most of the night and day. I replaced the thermostate. Nor the air conditioner or heating units will activate.

    Can a 1 ton split a/c compressor be replaced with a 2 ton compressor and still keep the cooling unit from the 1 ton unit?
