Can Honewell Thermostats be used to replace Intertherm Thermostats?
A quilt rack fell on the Intertherm and damaged it. Now, it acts like it's not getting power. The fan won't even blow. We've replaced with a Honeywell, only to have the same problem.

Did you kill power to the furnace /airhandler before removing and replacing tstat? If not you very easly could have blown the transformer .Its possible that when the old tstat was damaged it could have shorted and at that time fried the transformer
