    Cadet baseboard heater makes loud clanging/grinding noise on startup
    My cadet baseboard heater has begun to make a loud clanging/grinding noise upon startup. It gradually subsides to a gurgling and then quiet until the thermostat kicks it on again. It sounds like metal on metal, like a fan blade coming into contact with metal. Thanks in advance!

    Exact model number of baseboard heater?

    I don't know the model number, but it is the SoftHeat kind. I hope that is enough to go on. Thanks!
