    a/c is not working
Help my house is in the 90s and the outside temp is much cooler!:o We recently purchased the house that needed main breaker panel upgrade from 100 to 200 amp. The a/c was working all right but not the greatest! Once the electrician turned off the main and finished his job and restored power the a/c unit came on but not enough to cool off jack! The unit outside was and is running, it had a lot of dirt and debri but I cleaned it out and also changed the furnace filter but nothing! Can someone point me in the right direction?

I would probably check the refrigerant charge at this time ,you can tell a great deal about the system from the refrigerant pressures. You said you cleaned the out door unit , did you wash it with a water hose ? If not then I might suggest this and feel the refrigerant lines and see if the larger one is cool and sweating, the smaller line might be warm. Good luck. Mike
