    Best heat pump condo
I have to replace an 11 year old 2 ton heat pump system to a leaking compressor and air handler in a condo. I am told Amana has become junk as are stories of Goodman (don't know if they are the same. Is there a site for knowledge on how to make the most cost effective choice on HVAC equip?

Typo. Reason for need to purchase new is due to a leak in compressor and air handler.

There is no such thing as best type or brand. It all has to do with the installer. A good installer can make a reasonable price unit run almost forever and a bad installer can take the most expensive equipment and turn it to junk. This is just the facts.
