    2 double wires in termostat
    I was traing change my old termostat for new Honeywell digital termostat, which is operate only my unit in condominium. When I open old one I saw bunch of wires but only 4 was connected. 2 red to R terminal and 2 with to W terminal. Why the old one is conect this way and what for are rest wires? That some one can help my how I suppostu instal new termostat? Thank You.

    I'm not real sharp when it comes to LOLcat speak, but didn't the new t-stat come with instructions?

    Please be more specific. What model tstat is your old? What model tstat is your new Honeywell? What wire colors and terminals labels are they tied to on the old tstat? What cooling and heating equipment models/manufacturers do you have?
