    Jobs for convicted felons
What careers are open to convicted felons that require minimal formal training?

Specifically, can a felon legally be hired as a phlebotomist in TX?

I work with a program to rehabilitate former felons and need this information to share.

There are issues in some areas where medicare is going to pay for the medical procedures, there are some rules about ex felons having direct contact with the patent, I know after a medicare audit of my firm ( closed last year) we had to let a couple of ex felons go because of their contact with patients before we could pass.
