Yes you can appoint an alternate. But are you asking whether two people can act as "co-alternates?" The answer to that is no - you can have one primary and one alternate. It wouldn't make sense to have two "co-alternates," because it opens a can of worms if you had two co-agents who disagreed with each other. So you should pick one of your sons as the alternate to your husband. Later if either your husband or son is unwilling or unable to do this, you can redo the form to include the other son as appropriate. |
