    Installing 2 hard drives
    I am new here. So hello! I need some assistance please. I am installing an additional hard drive using the symantec ghost program. The second hard drive is installed and I have the ghost program installed. When I tried to bring up the new hard drive it freezes at the windows welcome screen. I am running xp pro. Can someone assist me please? Thank you

    I don't know anything about the Symantec program but make sure you reset the jumpers on the hard drive so you can run a master and slave hard drive... the jumper position should be printed on the hard drive. "master" "Slave" and "Select"

    Are you installing a 2nd hard drive or a second operating system? Either way all ghost does to the best of my knowledge is make a back-up image of your c-drive, Not A 2nd OS

    What are yout trying to do with the Ghost. If you are adding a second hard drive, then there is no reason to use Ghost.
