    External hard drive connection.
    Hello!
    I am savita, I have problem with external hard drive!
    I have purchased a hard drive, I have connected it to computer ,using USB port
    But my computer dose not detect it.
    So whethre I have to do some setting in control pannel?
    Please help me...

    Right click my computer icon on desktop. Click manage, click disk management, external HARD DRIVE should show up in list of drives . May need to format. Do so by right clicking on drive to format & follow instructions
