    Copying old hard drive
    Soon be getting new computer - do not want to lose all the data/contents of my current 2hard disks -? How best to transfer old disks to new disk (plenty of capacity) or would it be better to buy an external disk . Adviice on the method to do either would be appreciated

    This would be a desktop computer?

    Well you could get an external drive and hook it up to old PC and copy what you would like to keep and then hook up the external to the new computer and transfer that way.

    There are other options, above would be easiest.
