    Configure a dynamic drive
Hi, I have a system running w2k pro. I have one drive that has about 6 gb left (basic drive) and another 20gb drive (also basic) configured on the system labeled drive c and d respectively. If I go through disk management and convert the d drive to dynamic will this enable me to use the space on that drive as if it were a part of the c volume? I have some files on the d drive that appear to be part of an old backup (there is a folder called docs and settings, another titles program files and another labeled winnt, then there is one that is all numbers and letters which I suspect is the backup). I believe the others are just a copy of the w2k install cd. Should I delete all of the files on d prior to changing the drive to dynamic? I am afraid that I would have folders with multiple like names. Does the drive have to be spanned then or is that a recovery technique? Thank you for your help.
