When I press the button to turn my computer on nothing happens. Can it be repaired; is there a reset button; has it died? I have a 6000 series HP computer.

Make sure all the cables areplugged in, no success, try to pluggin in a different circuit, where u are 100% sure the circuite is working, still no success, then most likely your power supply is bad.

Also make sure all the plugs have power going to them follow the computer power plug and see if its plugged in on both ends, sometimes you may accidentally kick it out a bit when sitting at your computer.

Happened to me about 6 months ago, if NOTHING turns on, no beaps nothing that it is a good chance of your power supply went bad. Usually can have it fixed for under 50 dollars
