    Whatever color you want.

Are you asking because of the shade of your hair? Are you asking because you have damaged hair? Are you trying to cover grey or just want a different color?

    Your question is very vague.

I am asking because I would like to get the same color as the wella that was put in.Here in can. I cannot buy it so I can buy the loreal products. The salon I was at was Tony and Guy and they stripped the darker brown from my hair and picked this other one. I would like to keep it the same without the expense of a high end salon. Any help would be appreciated... thanks

You most likely won't get the same results with coloring at home that you did in the salon. Most salons mix their own color, it's not easy to find it in the store. Also, the technique they use and the color products they use are higher quality.

Having said that, your best bet if you really want to try coloring at home, is to go to the store, try to match your color (on the side of the box it will show you approximately what they color will look like when applied to different shades of hair) and give it a try.

The biggest problem with the store bought products is the color. Many times the browns will turn more red then brown. That's the problem I have. I never ever get the color that's on the box.

It's best to have a friend apply it for you as it can get very messy, and it's easy to miss spots when you do it yourself.

Follow the directions exactly. If you leave it in too long the color will get darker, not long enough and it won't be right either. Don't be surprised if the color isn't what you wanted. Also, the color will fade as you wash it. If it's too dark at first it should lighten a bit after a few washes.

    Good luck. :)
