    Temporary hair dye
    Hello
My friend really wants to dye her hair blond, and she wants me to do it for her. This is a pretty big step, as she has very dark brown hair. I was wondering, is there a temporary hair dye we could use before so she doesn't regret it? I didn't know if it was possible to go from brown to blond temporarily, or will it need to be a permanent thing, as the color pigment would be washed out. Any answers would be helpful! Thanks!

A temporary hair color contains ammonia and it's deposit only color, which means that it won't lighten the hair. If your friend wants her hair temporarily blonde, she can use a colored hair spray. But if your friend wants to go from brown to blonde permanently, she will need to bleach her hair and then apply a toner in order for it to look natural. Hair bleaching is a difficult process, you should tell her to get it professionally done.

You will find colored hair sprays at your local beauty supply store.
