    Straightener damaged
    Hey.
I have this straightener that my mom damaged. She put it in the middle of a mess so now it has some scratches in the ceramic area.. You can feel them with your fingers.
Is it safe for me to use this straightener again? I mean, will it pull out my hair or something? If I shouldn't use it what should I do?

    Best Regards

Scratches may be polished from ceramic or watch crystals by using your fingertip and white toothpaste or moistened ashes... it's a tedious process, but it works... try to be patient.

Looking for good hair straightener, but not $$$ [ 1 Answers ]

Seems the hair straighteners that cost under $50 just don't straighten well enough. My daughters hair in particular, she says her cousin's hair straightener gets very hot and works really well, but I think it was $100 or more. Any suggestions on those?
