    Refreshing permanent hair color...
Hi! New to this site. I found it by trying to Google my dilemma. I am 40 and have re-touched my permanent color/ brunette, every two weeks for years (my hair grows incredibly fast so I have to color that frequently). My problem is that I just noticed that I have long gray hair (my hair is long) that I never noticed before. My hair stylist said it's not a good idea to do another round of permenanent color (except for on the roots as I usually do). What's my best bet? It's been years since I did an all-over permanent color. Will it turn my medium brown hair too dark? Will it wreck my long hair? How to get rid of the long grays?

Permanent hair color can hide or cover gray hair. Try using a color that is 1 or 2 shades lighter than your hair's natural color.
