I like black hair but my boyfriend doesn't!
    :o hi,
I really like my black hair color but my boyfriend really doesn't becayse he says I look son kind of the girl from "THE RING" but way cutter, :p . I think balck is sexy but he thinks blonde is, so I've decided to change my blue black permanent color back to my dark brown natural color, so I can go to a lighter color. I just bought perll shampoo to see if it works. I haven't colored my hair in like two months and the months before it I just colored the upper part or (roots) I don't know how you call it. I tried Metalex by clairol, but it works only on semi-permanent colors, eventhou it took off a little bit cause I can see my hair a little lighter but is not what I want. I know if I go like crazy trying everything on the market I'll dry or even lose my hair. It is even worst cause I blowdry my hair and flat iron it every 2-3 days. I think the most healthier way is to let you hair grow but eventhou I know it i just can't wait.
I want to know if i go back to my natural hair color, and i decide to color it to a medium blonde it turn orange or it'll turn out the color i want?:(

Luvy, you shouldn't dye your hair blonde just because your boyfriend asked you to. If your happy with black hair, you should keep it. Most men don't care what color a woman's hair is, men prefer all types of women and hair color doesn't play a factor. When it is love, all of the physical traits are overcome by the emotional attraction between the lovers. Women come in different shapes, sizes, ethnicity and hair color, and they're differences makes them appealing.

The Prell will only slightly fade the color. If you want to go blonde, you will need to use a bleach in order to lift your hair light enough to be a blonde then apply a blonde toner. I suggest you go to a professional if you want to have blonde hair without the orange. The stylist will bleach your hair to a pale yellow stage and apply the correct toner.

    Hi,
Your boyfriend doesn't really sound as if he is accepting you "as you are"!
Someone who loves you will show you respect, honesty, caring, and like you for who you are.
Many of us have many boyfriends/girlfriends throughout the first parts of our lives. What are you going to do the next time? When you find another boyfriend? Most relationships change from one boy to the next, until maybe you are past age 20 or so; just an example.
You really should have your hair color the color you like, and leave it. I do wish you the very best and good luck.

If you like having black hair, your boyfriend should respect that. You shouldn't feel you need to go blonde to please him, what ABOUT yourself?

THE bottom line is, you need to do it for you, not him. AND if you feel you need to, THAN he seems like a selfish person. Besides, you can't give in to every partner you cross in life, you'll never be happy.

YOU need to stand up for yourself, make yourself crystal clear. IF you let things go, such as this people will take advantage of you and WILL no longer respect you. SPEAK up girl, don't go blonde because he asked you too, go blonde IF you want it for YOU, and YOU alone.

    Don't listen to your boyfriend!!

If he wants you to change your hair to blonde when you like it black he's not accepting you for who you are and also there will be another man out there for you who will accept you for who you are!!
