How to lighten hair after bleaching and colouring over the hair
Yesterday morning I went to the hairdressers and had my full hair bleached in an attempt to go platinum. Unfortunately the hair was so many different shades that when I left the salon the roots at the centre top of my hair were yellow and orange. Straight away my hair began to fall out and my scalp was very irritated. I couldn’t stand the color and in panic straight away went to another hairdresser to see if they could change it. When seeing the next hairdresser they put another peroxide blonde hair color over the top for another 40 minute, this didn’t help the state of my head and scalp and did not change the color. They then in an attempt to put low lights in my hair had a black and white effect but the lowlights were done so badly that they were blotchy and came out black. I was so upset by this point that the hairdresser told me that he would color my whole head back to my natural blonde, it is now black all over and I am very depressed. I have never been dark, I have always been a blonde and cannot stand to look at myself in the mirror. I would love to put highlights back into my hair. Does anyone have any idea how long I have to wait before bleaching my hair again as it is already In such a bad state and constantly breaking? Or is there anything I can do to lighten it again without having to use bleach?

I think for hair in as bad of shape as you say you need to wait at least a month.
Peroxide is bad for your hair.
When doing two different applications you should do them about a week apart I think.

I always use Sun In to lighten my hair because it is more controlable and natural looking.

For now you need to put a good hair conditioner in your hair and wrap it up in a towel or something and leave it in as long as you can.
