How can I get Kool Aid out of my hair!
I have really blonde hair and have never dyed it before. I thought it would be fun to put a red streak in my hair for the summer. Internet how to's said that the dye should come out in two to three washes. Now that summer is almost over I've tried everything to try and get it out. Baking soda, dishsoap, head and shoulders, laundry detergent, I even tried household bleach! Nothing has worked!! PLEASE HELP

Why not just get some haircolor the same color as your hair. Get one of those root touch up things and then you won't have a lot of hair color left over.

Red Kool Aid on blonde? That is very hard to get out, as you already know However, you can try peroxide. Not the kind you put on cuts, the kind in developer.

Go to a beauty supply store, a Sally's if you have one. Then use about an ounce of 20 Volume developer and mix it with a clear or white shampoo, just a little shampoo though. Then put it only on the part that has the Kool Aid on it. Let is sit for about 5 to 10 min. Then rinse out all the way.

Make sure it's 20 volume, not 10. 10 is deposit only. 20 is for lifting.

Also make sure your hair has no other chemicals on it. I read that you put some other chemicals on it, so make sure it's free from that.

    Good Luck.

I have very blonde hair too. I dyed it with my friends about a month ago and now my parents really want me to get it out. And what sucks even more is that if I go to bed with wet hair my white sheets turn pink and one of my white T-shirts turned pink too! When I was dying my hair my friends said that it would last about 2 WEEKS, but it would possibly be longer because my hair is so light. So it has been way longer than I expected and I was wondering if there was a shampoo thing I could buy at Sally's.

My hair is blonde and I dyed it with red kool-aid last October. It is now March, and it is still in there just not as intense. That is about 5 months, several washings, and a coloring with hair dye that it has survived. I wish I could figure out how to get it out too! Sigh. I hope someone figures it out.

I just dyed my hair too and then decided I didn't like the color so I decided to take a combination of peoples ideas and I found mine works AMAZING! Take a cup run EXTREAMLY hot water then fill the cup to the top then take the strand of hair and soak it in it until you see the color of the dye turn the water but I find it most helpful to put dish soap in the water it helps more than just the hot water!

I forgot to say just keep reapeating this step until its all gone it won't take just one time it might take many... when you dye your hair with Kool Aid its just basically sitting on your hair so that's why this hot water makes it come off better

I have had Kool-aid in my hair for over a year now, and it's still there. I've tried washing with dawn dish doap, baking soda, I've dyed it almost black, nothing works. If you decide to do your hair with Kool-aid, only soak it for like, 5-10 minutes. Then it won't last as long. But I soaked mine for like 45 minutes, and my hair is dark brown, and it's not budging to come out. So, I wouldn't recommend doing it!

I have blonde hair and I dyed it purple. It faded to maroon and now it's a darker pink. I cut off some of if the other day but it still won't come out.
