    Hair dye
    I need some suggestions on what to do my hair is normally light brown with some gray so I bought a hair dye that was suppose to be natural lightest golden brown and now my hair is red:eek:

    If the dye hasn't set already, you can try shampooing several times to get it out. It won't get all of it out, but it might help to lighten it. You could also try a different, darker dye, or, if you are able, go to a salon and have a pro do it.

    Your hair turn a reddish shade because you used a hair color with a golden base. When you cover gray hair, it's important to choose a shade that is similar to your natural color. You would need to choose a color such as lightest brown instead to light golden brown. Please go to a salon and have them correct the color for you. They can also give you tips on how to cover the gray on your own without the unwanted tones.
