    Hair color
My problem is that for years I colored my hair med. Dark brown.recently I let it all grow out and had salt and pepper color which I liked.then as a little time passed it started to all become white.a friend was helping me and was trying to put some darker streaks in it to look more like salt and pepper. We used loreal product just like you would do if she had been frosting it.after pulling some hair through the cap she put the color on.she did not use abrush but used her hand to rub it on the hair that was pulled through cap. As aresult I ended up with too much darkand white spots.is there any way I can fix this problem without turning g my hair orange? I want to get this dark shade out so I can have my right color.do I have to wait for it come out on its on or is there anything I can do? I know this sounds strange but I need advice. Thank you sincerely edna

If you don't want to go to a salon and have it corrected then you can go to a beauty supply store and get a box of One'n Only ColorFix by Robert Graig (it's a yellow box and costs about $14). It is designed to remove permanent hair color and do very little to no damage to the hair.

I have used it and it worked great, and didn't damage my hair.

I agree with the above post. Here in the UK we call it hair lightener. It removes all the colour from your hair and allows you to 'start over'. Bleach the colour out and then choose a colour you like to add when the bleaching process is done. Don't rush the process. It works but it's like colouring you hair twice - wipes out the colour you don't like then you colour using the colour of your choice.

Colorfix is not a hair lightener, it's a hair color removal product. If you use Colorfix on your hair, it will result in a brassy or orange shade. You can allow the color to grow out naturally, or you can lighten your hair with bleach and then apply a dark toner to achieve the salt and pepper effect. Please let a professional do the color for you
