    Going from blonde to red head to blonde again. Need urgent assistance.
    Hi guys,
    So about 4 months ago I dyed my naturally blonde hair a deep red colour. I wasn't too crazy about it so I haven't redone it since and was hoping it would fade out on it's own. And it has to an extent, but I am still left with a ginger-ish tint that is getting lighter with each wash but doesn't look like it's going to budge.
    I am thinking about dyeing back myself with a standard blonde hair dye (I was thinking Garnier). Does anyone know if I can expect good results? Or is it likely to come out orange/yellow/green? I'm a bit too skint to have it done professionally at the moment so any suggestions would be most helpful.

    You can't just dye it with a lighter dye. The lighter dye won't touch the red pigment (or any artificial pigment) in your hair. You need to use Color Remover first (ColorFix, Color Oops, Igora Phantom).

    It's unlikely to turn greenish. Color remover will likely leave it fairly orange or yellow. Don't worry about that.
