    Dying from red to black?
Well, my natural colour is dark brown. I coloured it, and it is now washed-out red colour (it was ruby red). It's getting boring, so I want to change colour. My aunt said that if I dye it black, it won't be black, it'll be some terrible colour. And, she said that I should switch it like brown > dark brown > black. I think that's quite complicated... So? What do you think? I want to be black, baaaadly. :D

    Its just basic mixing colors.
I dyed my hair black and I'm a red head(ginger) but I had to bleach it first... that destroyed my hair... but now its growing out as a kind of reddish brown

Honestly, I would go to a salon for a counsultation. It's really hard for us to judge considering that we don't know what your hair looks like, nor do we know the condition of you hair.

Have a stylist look at it first. He/she may suggest that you strip the hair color first before color application. Bleaching your hair, you will run a high risk of damage. Also, a stylist will be able to formulate the color correctly.

Unfotunately, red is the first color to fade and the hardest to get rid of. Funny how that works.

    Good Luck.

Not to worry. I too am a huge fan of the bottle.

Just make sure that you do it correctly, not only for longevity, but for damage control.

By having a professional look at it, he/she can determine your best route for your next plan of action.

You still can achieve this by yourself in your own home. Just let them guide you in the right direction, so you're not having to keep going back to the beauty supply store and appling more and more color.

    Good Luck.
