I colored my hair a natural blonde color which is the root color you see?
I colored my hair the root color you see on most blondes and the first time I colored my hair, the roots didn't take to the color AT ALL and the ends went a lavender purple color, I attempted the color again, thinking I didn't leave it on long enough and used a 10 vol developer like I did the previous time and the roots still didn't take to the color!

I then thought, well maybe its because there is not enough lift going on for the color to penetrate the hair so I decided to mix equal parts of 30 vol with 10 vol (since I was out of 20 vol developer) and colored YET another time, this time the ends came out dark and the roots came out a brassy blonde and 2 inches away from the root came out a darker BRASSY blonde, I know this is my fault for attempting to use 30 vol/10 vol mix in an attempt to make 20 vol developer but how am I going to fix this? The color is horrendous and I don't know what to DO!!
