    Black Hair
I have long, thick, curly hair, which is naturally a honey blonde colour.
I've had it black for the past 2 years or so, and I've decided I'd really like something different.
Basically, I would like to have the top half of my hair still black, and the bottom half an electric blue or hot pink colour.
The problem with this is, I would need to get the bottom half back to blonde before I can put the coloured dye in it.
I have a friend, who has naturally black hair, yet still manages to have a wild, new colour through it every week.
She has told me that all I need to do is bleach it a few times and it should become a bleach blonde colour.
But I'm so afraid my hair will turn horrible and dry, or even worse, just fall out.
Is there any way I can change my hair back to blonde, without going to the salon?

I think your best bet is to go to a prfessional hair dresser.. Im sure they can do what you want and still not damage your hair. I think your taking more of a risk doing it on your own.

Evie, you have an artificial color in your hair, therefore, you have to use a color remover first. Then you will need to bleach your hair to get it to blonde. You can use either a cream developer or liquid developer with a bleaching agent. It's best to use a 30-volume peroxide. You will also need to monitor the bleaching very carefully so that your hair doesn't get over processed. When the hair is bleached then you can apply a toner or desire color. Do not bleach your hair on your own, I think you should have a hairstylist do it for you. But since you don't want to go to the salon, ask a friend to help you with this method.

Buy a ligthest blond hair with booster in it. Find the lightest blond you can find, and make sure that it has a booster in it. If you can't find it at your local pharmacies, go to Sally's Beauty Supply. With the bleach there is a combination of the power solution and the peroxide. The higher the peroxide number is, the lighter it will be. I believe that the whole peroxide 30, 40, etc, is what really cooks the hair. Try finding that blond hair with booster, and it will be a lot easier.

I had black hair underneath and also a little in the front.
I used ColorFix color remover and was able to get at least some of the black out. Then I bleached it. You don't have to go to a salon to bleach your hair. I bleach my hair on my own and it hasn't fallen out, or gotten fried. If you go to Sally's, you can get a kit with everything in it that you need. I bleached the black and put a processing cap on so that it worked better. Then after washing your hair you dye the bleached portion to the desired color.
It worked and I love it : )

If u don't want to bleach it then go to any store and get color oops it will take color out of your hair so just apply it to where you want the color to leave an in 20min the colors out and it doesn't damage your hair all you have to do is use conditioner afterwards it's very simply and you can due it any color you want the same day!
