    How long working to get unemployment medical reason
    I may be forced to leave my job for medical reasons, after 5 or 6 months. I live in VT. Will I be eligible for unemployment benefits? I will have been employed in 3 different quarter periods, possibly 4.

    Hello c:

    Maybe... It depends on your medical reason... IF it prevents you from working at all, then you won't be eligible for unemployment, because you have to be actively looking for work.

    But, if you can do OTHER work, they MIGHT... But, they're not just going to give it to you off the bat. IF you get it, it'll only be after a fight.
