The National Hurricane Center has kept records on hurricanes for many years. It can be shown that the distribution for the maximum sustained wind speed of hurricanes has a mean wind speed of 110 mph and a standard deviation of 20 mph. If nothing is known about the shape of the distribution, what can you say about the probability that a hurricane has maximum sustained winds greater than 130 mph?
