    Red maple pests
Need a little more info to answer you question... first you say it is a "red maple"... do you mean that it has red leaves? If it is a red leaved maple it is actually a Norway Maple, not a Red Maple... which actually has geen leaves (I know confusing huh). Next, I need to know what part of the world you live in. This will help narrow down what kind of pest you may have. Also, what does the insect damage look like? Be very descriptive, also investigate to see if you can find any of the little critters still around. With a little more info I should be able to tell you what the prob. Is as well as how to treat it. Don't worry though at this time of the year any pests on the leaf will not affect the trees growth for the following year. So let me know what you find out and I will be waitng for your reply.

The tree has red leaves. I live outside of Memphis,Tn. And I did go and looked at the leaves again today but saw no pest of anykind on the leaves. Some of the leaves looked like eaten from the top down and some of the leaves just have big holes eaten in them. I hope I am saying this right. Thank you for answering my question.
