    Squeaking desk drawers
How do I stop squeaking when opening and closing wooden desk drawers? I have heard that paraffin wax works. How do I apply it?

Parafin or even a dampened bar of soap will help. Rub it on the sides of the drawer where you see the rub marks, it acts as a lubricant.

    Hi, pmckimmon!

The answer above is excellent! You also might want to check to see if the drawers might be damaged at all, like maybe coming unglued or apart in any way that might be contributing to them squeaking.

    Thanks!
